VTG Etched Brass Repoussé Bowls with Animals/People, Brass Islamic Kashmiri Finger Bowls, Brass Repousse Bowls/Alms Bowls, 2024 Set of 4

A beautiful set of 4 - each different - small brass repousse bowls with animals/plants/people.

I have seen these referred to as "Kashmiri finger bowls" and "Islamic alms bowls."

They each have a 5 2024 inch opening diameter and sit 2 inches high.

They are in very nice condition with the only issues being a small crack on the edge of one bowl shown in the last photo and 3 small rust spots located on the center floral medallion of the bowl shown in Photo #6. The bowls are very clean otherwise - inside and out - and dent free.

Etsy only allows 10 photos and it was a little frustrating deciding which of the fabulous animals featured on the sides of the bowls to show. There are all different types of birds, camels, an elephant, and other unidentifiable creatures as well as human figures.
