Couples are are a team and so is a group of people working together on a project. This piece is multi-dimensional and can be seen to symbolize different things depending on who is looking at it. The piece with an exterior circle can symbolize continuity or continuum. The second piece with faces is a couple's kiss. The third is mother and child, also represents dependence.
The pieces are made of soap stone commonly referred to as Kisii stone. Kisii is the region in Western part of Kenya. .... And no, Kisii and Kissing have no relation. they are only homonyms.
