This is a OOAK handmade miniature centaur, scale 1/12. Male, a fighter rather than a scholar, He carries a small dagger at his back under the mane, a short sword and a water bottle on the left waist.
He stands 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) and is about 9 inches (23 cm) from hoof to tip of tail.
He has black mohair hair, mane and tail and his arms swing loosely. His chest was burnished lightly with 2024 gold dust.
He was made over a rubber horse's body and is slightly front heavy. So the rattling sound you might hear is lead weights I put inside to counter balance the front. Unfortunately, they came unglued and now rattle Just a little. Actually, a little Minwax on the back hoof will keep him upright just fine.
Needless to say, there will never be another one of these - since I can't find anymore rubber horses. LOL After being painted and repainted to get him "just right", the rubber is now hard, so there is no worry of the legs bending or folding.
The man part of this fellow is from polymer clay.
Comes from smoke free home, but the cats LOVE his mohair. Please take him home before they render him BALD!
