Antique mid to late 1800s hand stitched French linen chemise monogrammed in red embroidery with the initials 2024 L R.
Features an embroidered scalloped neckline with a hidden drawstring to adjust the fit and has short sleeves. The hand stitches around the neckline are so neat!
This is a fairly heavy piece weighing in at about 650 grammes. The fabric is true linen so not a pure white and has irregularities to the colour, which is natural as is the slub texture.
