A handsome antique New Haven Connecticut 2 gallon salt-glaze jug / crock by S.L. Pewtress & Co circa mid1800s -

Gorgeous reddish brown glaze + w/ impressed makers mark along with a nicely stylized number “2” + New Haven Conn-

11”H x 10”W single handle beehive-form jug

No cracks / repairs w/ very minimal signs of use / age


A Simple, clean, straightforward Connecticut coastal jug.
