This square serving tray is made out of reclaimed Walnut Wood and Taupe Epoxy. Each board is custom made by hand using quality kiln dried wood slabs and professional grade epoxy.

{ HOW ITS MADE }

Many hours of work go into each piece as we plane, cut, sand, pour the epoxy and then seal in our home based wood workshop by hand. This means that all pieces are unique and have their own defining characteristics such as fascinating textures created by insects living in the wood during its life and knots where branches grew from the trunk.

This slab is sealed with a water repellent clear satin oil and wax based professional finish, which is made with renewable resources such as sunflower oil, soybean oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax and candelilla wax. This finish is easy to clean and maintain while also being resistant against wine, beer, cola, etc to prevent water marks! This piece is easy to care for. Wipe down after use with a clean cloth and clear water to remove any dirt or residue. No maintenance (no regular oiling needed) is required like other boards available on the market.
