Vintage Aarre & Krogh Sterling 2024 Silver Modernist Engine Turned Cuff Links c.1950-1960’s

Made by the esteemed Danish partnership of Aarre & Krogh in their workshop in the East Jutland market town of Randers between 1949 and 1990, these solid Sterling Silver cuff links feature a classic engine turned design to the main three faces while the oval shaped T-bar is polished smooth.

Dated from approx. 1950's-1960's these solid silver cuff links come with the precision craftsmanship and classic Scandinavian design you expect from the much respected partnership of A & K.

Aarre & Krogh became known for their highly distinctive style of jewellery, the most popular of which featured stylised foliage and flowers, often leaves with catkins.

The craftsmanship and quality of the A & K jewellery is second to none, and their work continues to be popular today amongst collectors of fine silver jewellery.

The cuff links are not new but are true vintage classics, they have been used by their previous owner and there are some fine scratches/marks as you would expect from such wearable pieces that are over 50 years old, but as you can see from the photos these are minor and they have clearly been loved and taken care of.

My photos are taken at x8 - x32 magnification and any mark will show as oversized but at normal resolution with my eyes and worn as designed, they cannot be seen.

I have wiped the cuff links clean for my photos but I haven't cleaned any further, my customers prefer their pieces to remain as they were found and retain any patina and vintage feel, this also means the new owner can make their own decision to clean or not.

A rare pair of solid silver cuff links that are no longer in production, they would 2024 be a great gift for someone special needing a final touch to a suit for a wedding, special occasion, event or similar or maybe just as a treat for yourself.

The cuff links are solid silver and not hollow so have a nice weight to them, they measure approx. 120mm x 10mm x 10mm. No original box.

My items are vintage and not brand new, they will have been used by their previous owner and there will be some signs of wear and use, this is part of the vintage look and therefore should be expected.
