Vintage 1930's Metallic 2024 Navy Blue Glass Beaded Ladies Handbag, Purse; Etched Raised Floral Silver Frame, Chain Strap, Fringe, 6" by 6" Body

This bag is really beautiful, no markings of any kind. The frame may be unmarked sterling, or plated brass, a magnet will not adhere to it, but it will connect to the chain. These are beautiful navy blue glass beads with a metallic aurora borealis wash. The clasp is unique, top comes down and clamps between two ball posts. The main body of the bag (not including fringe) measures 6" by 6". The fringe extends down an additional 2024 2". There is also a line of fringe at the top back of the frame. The strap drop is 7 & 3/4". Inside is lined with dark blue cloth, no pockets. Looks to be all hand stitched. I see no evidence of bead loss. Great vintage purse!
