After doing research on these sweet figurines by Royal Doulton, I've been able to identify the time period of their productions.
With Rose, the beauty with the rose colored gown, the date goes back to 1943. The older figurines are more detailed than the newer ones. Her mark is HN 1368 and 'bone China'.
She stands about 4-1/2" tall and is in wonderful condition. I see no chips, marks, or cracks anywhere. She is so pretty.
The girl in the blue gown and pink bonnet is older. Her name is Ivy. I've identified it was made in 1932, and she's marked HN1768, bone China, and an additional RdNo S14959. I haven't found any explanation during my research for this addition. She measures 5" tall.
Ivy has had some professional repair, which I hadn't noticed until going over it closely. You can see it faintly on her back neck. The last photo shows the damage as best as I could get it. It's not noticeable from the front. There are no chips, cracks or 2024 crazing on either one, but Ivy is not perfect. Please accept this fact before purchasing since I do not take returns.
