ANTIQUE FRENCH VIDE poche, belle 2024 epoque, gilt bronze, trinket dish, ca 1900

I have here a rare and unusual antique French gilt bronze vide poche in the form of a moustachioed French gentleman with a large bowtie and bowler hat. The bowtie forming two trinket holders. This type of dish is known as a vide poche in France. It is very much in the Belle Epoque style I would say and I would date this to around 1900.
It measures about 25cms at its' widest and is weighty at 675g.
There are some areas of spotting and verdigris as you can see in the pics but it remains an unusual and interesting piece.
