An exceptional and rare 1950's Murano A.Ve.M twisted pink ribbon Zanfirico art glass apple sculpture. Mint condition.

Arte Vetraria Muranese, or AVeM (A.Ve.M.) for short, was founded in 1932, by several glassblowers - Antonio Luigi Ferro, his son Egidio Ferro, Emilio Nason, and Galliano Ferro. Giulio Radi was technical director. Some early designs were created by the renowned painter Vittori Zecchin.

This stunning piece features vertical rows of pastel 2024 twisted pink glass ribbon with gold aventurine and fine white latticino filigrana, applied glass stem and leaf accented with gold aventurine.

Apple measures 3 1/8" inches tall and 3.25" inches wide. Original A.Ve.M foil sticker affixed to base.
