“Diamond” XV Century Leather Belt
Embossed Belt with Etched Brass

This belt was originally designed as a part of our new collection of women's items, but it is a unisex piece that can be worn by anyone. It is historically inspired, so it is significantly longer than a modern belt. The idea is that once you do it up, you tuck it through to have the rest of the tail trailing in front of you. We were inspired by XV century examples when making this belt and aimed for something that is beautiful and eye-catching but not over-the-top like a plaque belt or something more knightly from the era.

From tip to end the belt is adorned with gorgeous embossing, designed by our talented team of artists. This particularly stunning diamond and flower pattern was devised after research into medieval manuscripts and art and has been taken from border motifs within. Even though it was inspired by history, it is still an ArmStreet design, so you won't find it anywhere else. This pattern is again repeated on the belt buckle and belt tip, giving the whole piece a very cohesive look.

For the belt tip and buckle, we have used quality brass, etched using signature ArmStreet techniques to have deep ornate patterns. We have then blackened aspects of it to make parts of the brass stand out. This belt is very well made and robust, so it is certain to stand the test of time and serve you well for many campaigns to come.
