For this quilt, you can request multiple colors and print types for a true scrappy style quilt like the one pictured to make your quilt as unique as you are! You can also choose just three fabric types so that the quilt has a more uniform look. Either choice would give you a beautiful quilt.

This is a handmade rag quilt made with two layers of soft 100% cotton flannel. Because of the strip design, this quilt has lots of raw edges that take hours to hand snip to create lots of pretty, fluffy fraying. You can choose to have the front and back fabrics match like the quilt pictured, or you can choose to have all one fabric on the back. Front seams are left exposed and then hand snipped to allow the washer to create the pretty, fluffy fraying.

Quilts are perfect gifts for yourself or anyone else on you gift list. They can be made in mulitple sizes and customized for a well deserved treat for yourself or for any occasion on your gift list and often become family heirlooms. My quilts are made by me on a small scale. I work with customers on choosing prints and colors of fabrics so that you are getting a one of a kind item made specifically for YOU.

I love scrap quilts because they give you the possibility of a truly unique quilt that would be nearly (if not completely) impossible to be copied exactly! So, there's little to no risk of being seen at the ball field or church with a blanket that is exactly like someone else's.

***I do plan to do a version of this quilt in colors for a little boy, but if you want one before I post it, message me, and I will be happy to make you a custom boy version of this quilt.

Listed sizes are approximate. Your quilt will be laundered once in dye free/perfume free detergent (in case of any allergies/sensitivities) prior to being shipped out. This will start the fraying process. This also helps me ensure that the quilt you are getting is approximately the size you ordered after the largest amount of shrinkage (experienced after the first wash and dry).

Since this is a custom quilt, I will communicate with you regarding the types of prints and colors to use for your quilt, and will also contact you occasionally during the process to keep you updated.

Care:
-Machine wash 2024 cold, gentle cycle
-Tumble dry low
-Rag quilts are durable, but this will help keep the flannel looking new.
-Rag quilts do produce a lot of lint at first. This should lessen with each time you wash and dry your quilt.
