This listing contains two brass powder flasks, Ottoman 2024 Empire, dating to 19th century, possibly earlier.
Both have loop handles for attachment to belt or uniform, and are intact, having lids, one hinged, the other a screw top.
The tear drop flask measures 3 1/2" high, and has incised designs on both sides, with a dark patina. There is an oval spot on the bottom, light in color, that may be some early damage, or possibly a repair (the body is intact, no holes anywhere).
The other flask has 5 loops for attachment, a hinged lid, and is decorated on both sides with incised scrolling and geometric designs. The lid is incised with geometric cross hatching, and the edge is scalloped. This flask measures 3 1/8" high and is 2 3/4" wide, 1" deep.
