Up for sale is a vintage porcelain demitasse or espresso set for 12 made by Thun in the former Czechoslovakia. This pretty pattern features yellow and blue flowers - all trimmed in gold.
This set consists of:
- a coffee pot which stands 8 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid's handle and is 8 3/4 inches wide from handled to spout;
- a lidded square sugar bowl which stands 3 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid's handle and is 3 1/4 inches in diameter;
- a creamer which stands 4 1/4 inches high and is 3 1/2 inches wide from handle to spout;
- 12 demitasse cups, each of which stands 2 1/4 inches high; and
- 12 saucers, each of which measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter.
This set has never been used and has been safely stored in a box for the last 25 years. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
