I created this piece with inspiration from the great master Da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus pages on Sacred Geometry. It has been given an aged look to elude to an aura of ancient mystery. The Flower of Life design is done meticulously in maroon all by hand without the aid of any stenciling. Over the years, the Flower of Life pattern has become almost as much of an obsession to me as Da Vinci himself. It is an ancient symbol representing the divine perfection of nature. It is created by overlapping circles of a six-fold design similar to the hexagon and can be soothing to practice drawing free-hand as a form of moving meditation. This painting has been thoroughly sealed and can also be used as a mini crystal grid for beloved tiny pieces!
