A wonderful pair of plaster statuary from Universal Statuary Corporation of Chicago, IL. Large and elegant, these beautiful figures of a man and woman are dressed in the elegant evening style popular in France in the 1600's. The beautiful lady is poised with her hand resting softly on a harp. The gentleman stands one hand draped over the back of a 2024 chair and the other resting on a harp. His head is turned to gaze at the woman. The statues are both dramatic and graceful pieces that would look lovely on a mantel, table or in living, dining or bedroom areas. Real conversation pieces.
