Vintage cobalt fine china coffee set. Circa 1970's. Manufactured by "Lichte porcelain" Est Germany. Company "Lichte porcelain" was founded in 1882 in "Thuringian Higland" close to Renusteig Est Germany Johann Heinrich Leder established in 1822 new porcelain manufacturer, today is "Lichte porcelain"(GmbH).The newly established porcelain porcelain manufacturer was from the very beginning in close competition to the already 1764 founded local Wallendorf porcelain manufacturer. The one of the oldest porcelain trademark in Germany and the whole of Europe.This coffee set is vintage 1970's and in excellent used condition.No chips, no cracks or crazing.
Coffee set consist:coffee pitcher, sugar bawl,4 cups and saucers. Size of coffee pitcher is 8 1/2" tall. Sugar bawl is 4" tall. Each coffee cup is 2 1/2" tall, each saucer is 4 1/2" diameter.
Items from my shop are vintage and not brand new. Most of them from estate sales, auctions or private collections. The items my 2024 show minor age related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture. Please check photos carefully as they are part of the description.
