2024 The square portion of these earrings were my mother's. She gave them to me because one of the clips had broken off, and she couldn't wear them "for the longest time." (Now she has pierced ears and doesn't wear clips any more anyway.) So I took them home and set them out on my work table for, yes, the longest time before getting inspiration. Then it happened, of course, and here you are.
The original earrings are silver plated and have a great etched design, a bit southwestern-ish. I did a little drilling with my trusty Dremel, added the gunmetal chain, tourmalated quartz donuts and briolettes, made a cute little center button, and hung another briolette on the back side just to make it as interesting as the front.
They measure 1.25" across and hang 3" from the post.
