Canister Set With Salt Box, Made In Germany, Vintage Porcelain Spice and Canister Set. 4 Canisters, 4 Spice, and Salt Keeper. Beautiful Germany canister set. Blue and Green floral transfer ware with gold gilt. Salt Box with wooden lid and decorated hanger is in nice condition. The hinge is a little loose. The screws have pushed the wood out a little, but in very functional. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain of the Salt box. Lids are stained from age and are all free of cracks and chips. One canister lid is 2024 missing the gold gilt. A few minor hairline cracks in two of the canisters and one of the spice boxes. The rice canister has a very small chip on the inside lip, and a small crack. The Barley Canister has a large chip on the inside lip, not visible with the lid on. Set includes Coffee, Tea, Rice, Barley, Salt, Pepper, Cinnamon, Cloves and Allspice. I am unsure of the age, maybe 1930's? Please look at all photos as part of the description.
