'Midnight at the Oasis' is a realistic pastel painting of flamingos, drawn onto a maize coloured sheet of pastelmat using soft sticks and pastel pencils. I've painted flamingos before but usually concentrated 2024 on their beautiful feathering in closeup. This painting however is all about the reflections in the water, with an almost abstract feel to it.

This is a high quality, LARGE box canvas print on a deep precision engineered frame with a centre tensioner/stretcher bar to ensure that your canvas does not require framing and is ready to hang. We use precision cut high density fibreboard for the stretchers which will not twist or warp like natural timber. It will remain as tight as a drum and not go baggy and loose like inferior quality box canvases.
