Victoria Carlsbad Austria porcelain mantle clock 2024 decorated with lithograph of young women with a diamond
Late 19th century, Rococo-style Austro-Hungarian porcelain mantle clock. Resting on a rectangular base, the edges of the clock are fashioned into a gilded rocaille scrolling design. The clock face and body are enamelled with bright polychrome floral bouquets in pink, red and purple colours. The lower half is decorated with an idyllic pastoral lithograph of three charming young ladies who are prospecting for diamonds; the right lower edge of the lithograph is signed.
