This is an incredible Indian D.B. Smith & Co air cooled galvanized steel, water hand pump backpack system and nozzle.
The pack shows galvanized steel construction with a thick rubber hose attached to a brass 2024 pump system. The larger tank includes a pair of green and yellow shoulder straps and has JC spray painted on the front of it.
It is marked across the back reading “Air Cooled Patented Tank”.
The hand pump and nozzle are marked across the front reading “Indian Pat Pending D.B. Smith & Co. Utioa. New York”. The set shows good condition overall with some light wear due to age. The pack measures 18 3/4” tall by 14” wide.
All proceeds from this sale goes towards Sarge's Veteran Support in Forks, Washington which serves the homeless Veterans of the Olympic Peninsula.
