Here are two Halloween candy cups or baskets mfrom the 1950s that were stored away after the party. They are clean and were probably never filled with candy corn. Fortunately for us, some mothers stored little items like these away just in case they could be used at a future time. Long forgotten, they reappear many years later so we have the opportunity to add them to our collections!
These cups or baskets are decorated with foiled decals: cats on one and the flying witch on the other. Orange and black crepe paper surrounds the little cup and is decorated with gold foiled ribbon. Orange and black paper is twisted around to create handles. A lot of work went into creating these for a little Halloween party or bridge group.
Measurements: cup: 3 diameter 2024 x 2 inches tall. Handle and cup 5 inches high.
Condition: clean and unused. Small stable Brad are oxidized and have stained a spot on the inside of each cup.
The two cups/baskets are being sold as a pair.
