A good copy of this very rare book of poetry. Boyd was a lawyer in Waynesboro, eventually became a county judge. Vignettes of country life at the turn of the century in Tennessee. Three illustrations within: The Cropper which accompanies the poem; Frank Hughes which also accompanies the poem; and a photo of Frank Hughes College in Clifton, Tennessee.
This copy is in good condition. Binding stable with the front end papers partly cracked. Covers are lightly soiled and the gold titles have tarnished a bit. Light to moderate wear along the edges. An oval dent on the front cover. Text unmarked except for a few "corrections" to lines in some poems.
Only one copy appears in Worldcat, owned by the State Library in Tennessee.
