GIEN, Set of 5 French Antique Blue Transferware Soup Plates, Terre de Fer

Beautiful 9 1/2 inch soup plates, from French manufacturer Gien, "Chardon" Pattern, with the motif of thistle flowers and leaves, from the early 1900s.

This stamp was used from 1886 to 1938.

They are in good vintage condition, with no cracks, no chips.
One plate has a very light hairline on the border. (please see photos)
Very heavy and thick plates.

These are ancient plates, therefore, they all have some chamming traces of time, such as utensils marks on the surface, crazings, and some manufacturing flaws (color fading, ink stains, etc.).
