Elis Kauppi (1921 - 2004) established Kupittaan Kulta in Åbo (Turku), Finland in 1945. His jewellery was featured prominently at the 1958 Artek Jewelery Exhibition. Kauppi's silver and gold jewellery are a simplistic modernist style.
