Vintage 1940's replica evening gown, purple velvet and chiffon over pink taffeta, beaded and sequined appliqués, matching belt, size 2024 M.

This vintage 1940's replica evening gown was created as a stage costume and was made from a vintage sewing pattern. It has the padded shoulders and narrow silhouette typical of WWII fashion. Please see details and evaluate fit from measurements listed.

-sleeves and bodice yoke lined in pale beige taffeta.
-bodice and skirt lined in old rose taffeta.
-back neck slit with rhinestone button and hook with loop.
-shoulder pads.
-side zipper.
-self fabric belt and covered buckle.

-very good condition. Belt buckle shows some wear. Please see photos.

Measurements: Please note that this gown needs some positive ease to fit properly. If it is a tight fit it will be difficult to impossible to put on in that it pulls over the head with only a short side zipper and the back neck slit as closures.

Garment measures: bust 44" (111.8 cm) to 2024 fit up to a 38" (96.5 cm) bust, waist 31" (78.7 cm) to fit a 28" (71cm) waist, hips measure 44" (111.8 cm) to fit up to 38" (96.5 cm) hips, shoulders across back 16 1/2" (42 cm), length from center front neck to waist 14" (35.6 cm), length waist to hem 44" (111.8 cm), belt length 36 1/2" (92.7 cm) width 1" (2.5 cm).
