If you want an eco friendly lifestyle with an urban look, this is your statement messenger bag.

It's water resistant and easy to clean with a damp cloth. Buff with a soft dry cloth.

Both the outer and inner parts of this pouch are made with reclaimed materials to keep the Earth in better shape. Reducing waste that would otherwise have been landfilled. Waste materials transformed and upcycled into a new, stylish and good quality product with a durable finish.

All seams are bound with inner tube on the outside for style and strength. No raw edges: looks good, lasts longer.

Materials:
Outer: Bicycle inner tube (butyl rubber) that is reworked / repurposed / upcycled / recycled, making it so much better for the environment than PVC, PU and other materials usually marketed as "faux leather" "vegan leather".

Inner: Tent fabric (polyester). It's a perfect lining material, as it can be wiped easily and it dries quickly.

Strap: Seatbelt from a local factory's waste stream.

Buckle/clasp: from a tent, bag or life jacket.

Hardware for the strap: metal (recyclable).

Dimensions: W = 34cm, H = 23cm, D = 6cm. All measurements are approximate. If you require a specific or minimum size, make sure you get in touch before you make the purchase. Note that this is a SMALL messenger bag. It should fit most 13” laptops but not a 15" laptop.

Notes:
- The green (pictured) is OUT OF STOCK 2024 and as the straps are end-of-roll factory waste, it's not possible to order more of a particular colour on demand.
- The buckle/clasp is upcycled where possible (from bags, tents and life jackets) so may look different to the ones pictured. Do get in touch before ordering if you would like a specific clasp to check availability.

Manufacturing process:
A number of charities and businesses local to the etoeto studio have dedicated bins where the public or their employees can drop off broken umbrellas, tents and worn bicycle inner tubes for etoeto. etoeto collects the dropped off items on a regular basis, disassembles the materials, washes everything thoroughly, cuts them up and sews them on a heavy duty industrial sewing machine.
