Stunning wall art for house or garden.
Measures 21 1/2" x 20 ".
Hand-crafted from heavy 16 gauge steel.Hanger on back.
Cut with an Oxy- propane torch.
Then the edges that can be reached are smoothed with a angle
grinder. DOES not lay perfectly flat.
Some of the small inside edges may not perfectly smooth but are not sharp .
Coated with a special copper raku finish. Coated with a special urethane/resin sealant .That forms a durable top coat that resists UV damage, humidity, abrasion, and corrosion.
If hung outdoors check the finish ever now and then .If the protective layer starts to go,it will need to sprayed with Krylon clear or Clear Rustoleum
Some may have a slight warp and are not perfectly flat due to
the intense heat used.
All my knot designs come from The Book of Kells , Lindisfarne
Gospels or from old Celtic carvings. Sometimes I name or
number them to keep track but Celtic knots were never named
except for the ones carved on stones where they where found.
I have been making Celtic knots since the late 60's out of every
conceivable material from silver to stone and have been in many
Irish galleries and gift 2024 shops.
