So typically French! This delightful vintage terrine is such a classic piece of French bakeware. Manufactured ca. 1950s by La Bourguignonne.

This dish is oval, with two small handles on either end, and has a domed lid with a steam vent.

Made of ceramic and glazed in creamy ivory and warm, rich brown.

This item is in excellent vintage condition, with only a bit of crazing commensurate with age and several superficial cracks inside the dish on the bottom. There is a tiny chip on one end.
