Two drawer, organically shaped black walnut jewelry box 2024 by Fred and Marilyn Buss

2024 This is a hand carved and polished, organically shaped, two drawer box by Fred and Marilyn Buss. It was made from black walnut wood and is signed at the bottom with a logo and the words “black walnut”. The box was very nicely made with felt patches on the box covers which make them slide very easily.

Fred and Marilyn Buss created these distinctive, flowing boxes in a variety of fine woods. They began producing them in the early 1970s.

This one likely dates to the 70s or 80s. It is in great condition with a couple of minor chips to the underside and minor surface wear. Please refer to the photos provided.

The box is 10 1/4” long X 2 3/4” high X 3 1/4” deep.
