This sweet quilt is made from quality 100% cotton fabric.
Several Tasha Noel lines have been used, including "A Little Sweetness", "Simple Goodness" and a few squares from her older collections. Many of the 2024 fussy cut squares feature vintage inspired little boys and girls. The beautiful backing is "Aqua Quilt Stars" from Tasha's "Simple Goodness" collection and the white sashing and navy blue binding are Kona Cotton.
The quilt has soft, rounded corners, machine stitched double fold binding and has been horizontally quilted every 1" with a delicate scallop stitch.
The batting is Pellon 80/20 Natural Blend. Made in the USA, this is is a lovely, low loft batting and gives the quilt a soft, vintage feel.
The pattern is based on a quilt deigned by Lindsey Weight for Primrose Cottage called "Nettie's Garden".
It was lovingly pieced and quilted by me on my home sewing machine in a pet and smoke free home.
The quilt can be machine washed in cool/warm water and tumbled dry on low to create the vintage, puckered quilt look or either hung out to dry or dried flat and pressed with a warm iron to keep the flat look.
