Forest Tones Glass Pendant with White Opal, Sea Anemone, Air Trap - 2024 flamework, borosilicate, handmade
2024 Here is a glass pendant with a lovely white opal. The forest tone coloring is unusual with greens, blues and subtle purple tones, bits of sparkle, and a dark background. I've used a sea anemone technique by trapping tiny air bubbles beneath the surface to catch light. The opal is a 5mm and lab-grown, set at a slight angle.
Measurements: 1 3/16" x 2" including the glass bail (3.0x5.1cm)
It comes with a 3mm black braided rubber cord, latex free, with a sterling lobster clasp. You have a choice of three lengths, please indicate when ordering. On most of our pieces the bail (loop) is generous in size and may also accommodate a chain or cord of your own.
This item is flameworked, also known as lampwork. It is solid sculpted with borosilicate (boro) glass, which is shock and heat resistant. All of my work is properly kiln-annealed for durability. All pieces are made individually by hand and torch, by me, Charlie Shoulders.
We normally use a flash in our photos to better illustrate the coloring. Glass is usually best viewed in natural sunlight. Please write with any questions.
