From a review: "A story of an anthropomorphized dog named Mr. Gissing, living his life in an ordinary way which turns into a search for truth, God, and the meaning of life. Elements of philosophy, religion, humor, and insight are all combined alongside the wonderful illustrations from Arthur Rackham."
