This phenomenal piece of centering yellow coral came to me as part of a very old Bedouin necklace that was falling apart. I didn't even know such coral existed! I coupled it with lots of other beads from antiquity figuring they'll all go out together and live a whole new modern story. I wonder how much longer these beads will survive when you pass them on through your family?
Made using a gorgeous, very old, centering piece of yellow coral, an assortment of vintage to ancient Java Jatim and Italian millefiori 2024, Italian lampwork, red coral, carved and heishi mookaite, freeform yellow opal, yellow crazy lace agate and Taos Pueblo trade beads. Strung on 49 strand nylon coated stainless steel wire with sterling crimps and findings and a pewter toggle clasp made in the US with high quality, lead free, cadmium free, pewter. 21 3/4"
