My goal was to create an inexpensive but usable midi footswitch with a pedal input for wah effect for my favorite guitar effetct software.

Plug and play, no driver or installation needed. Just plug it into a free USB slot and your OS will recognize it.
Just enable 'ActitioN MIDI controller' in your software settings and you're ready to go.

Features:
It can send PC (program change), CC (control change) and note messages on any channel.
- PC messages allows you to change presets. LED of the last pressed PC mode button lights.
CC and note messages can be:
- toggle (On/Off): It allows you turn functions/effects on and off individually. The LED indicate the state.
- momentary: momentary mode allows you to use non-on/off functions like ‘previous/next preset', ‘tape deck play', 'tap tempo' etc. It also can be use to turn on an effect for a very short time (I use auto-wah this way). LED lights while you press the button.
- impulse: send a MIDI message when you press a button. This mode is great to start/stop and change scenes in Ableton Live. LED of the last pressed impulse mode button lights.

Night light: LEDs providing a dim light so you can see the controller in dark environment.

It's 'polyphonic', multiple buttons can be pressed at the same time.

External pedal input: with the external pedal you can control any pedals, faders and knobs.
You can connect any standard pedal with a 6.3mm (1/4 inch) stereo jack (TRS), for example Roland EV5 or M-Audio EX-P expression pedal (using this one myself, I can only recommend).

Highly durable still lightweight metal case and buttons, ideal for both practice and on-stage use.
