Handcrafted Woman 2024 King Brooch ORIGINAL DESIGN

handmade brooch. approximately 2024 2.5 inches x 1.5 inches, is created with recycled materials including light bulb filament, buttons, vegetable dyed fiber, paper, gold leaf, metal beads, turquoise chips.

The pin back is brass and can be worn as brooch or pendant. I used gold and black Japanese rice paper FOR backing and front of brooch. The base of brooch is hard archival paper.

This design inspired by light bulb filament and a love for Indigenous Art.
