Hand 2024 dyed organic cotton scarf, moon phase cycle, natural indigo plant dyed, long blue organic cotton wrap, 90" x 15"

This long moon phase scarf is handmade, with soft and light organic cotton batiste, hand dyed in blue with natural indigo with moon phase in cream white. It will make a great gift for her :)

It is hand dyed by me, in my little studio in the South of France, with ecological processes and only with dyes from plants (mostly natural organic indigo & woad), during the full moon, when dyes are extracted from the plants organically.

The stylised moon phases were directly painted with natural rice flour onto the white scarf before being dipped into the vat. More than 10 baths were necessary for this pattern to appear, after resist paste was washed. I made a series of 3 scarves that way, all slightly different, 2 have already sold, the last one may be for you ;)
Colors are multiple, irregular and varied, with organic patterns, like water color effects: different tones of blue, gray blue, denim blue, some beige and touch of cream color.

A very unique supernatural scarf... to 2024 meditate... about natural cycles, regeneration and creation :)

This scarf has been washed several time during the process and the colors are stable. It is better to hand wash it in lukewarm water using mild detergent, dry in the shade and iron as usual.

It will be carefully wrapped with natural material, accompanied by a card explaining its making and shipped with tracking.
