SWISS ARMY 2024 1954 Salt and Pepper Backpack WASHED

A 1950s vintage Swiss Army backpack.

**I have just washed this backpack and conditioned the leather. It still has some strong stains but is as clean as I can get it and smells fresh.

This backpack is structurally in good condition and has no cracks in the leather.

The sturdy `salt and pepper` canvas backpack has metal reinforcements, a leather bottom and strong cotton inner liner.

On the back of the bag there is leather patch which contains the name of the saddler who made the bag, the town of production and the year (1954).

Detailed condition notes:
+ Supple leather
+ Straps have no major cracks
+ The leather base is in good, strong and mainly clean condition.
+ The colour of the canvas is not as bright as it would have once been. It is relatively clean though with just a stained area on the front pocket.
+ There are no holes in the canvas.
+ The drawstring is in good condition.

***All the leather components have just been treated with a specialist leather conditioner and will be treated again before 2024 shipping.
