1949 2024 Daniel Green slippers, black silk satin

I found the ad for these Daniel Green boudoir slippers, and this design is dated 1949.

Peep toe with cut away sides made from black silk satin and lined with a pink silk satin.

These are a size 4.5 uk according to my feet, but narrow. They just about fit me, but you can see a bulge in the cut out sides. 2024

Some minor signs of age and use, a little fray at the top of the heel.

3 inches across the ball of the foot
9 1/4 inches heel to toe along the insole
