Show Must Go On David Mandel Christmas Tree Pin Tie Tack, Silver Clear Blue Rhinestones Star, Vintage 1980s 2024 OOAK, Signed Broadway Designer

Fabulous Christmas tree pin tie tack in silver plated metal, layered stacking and three dimensional, it is signed “The Show Must Go ON” by David Mandel, prominent New York fashion and Broadway costume designer. David studied in New York and had a great period of self discovery in the 1980's. Mentored by Lawrence VRBA, David was also was involved as a designer/partner with Swarovski. David's pieces are highly collectible and rare-to-find.

This pin is a little showstopper that comes apart into its various components: triangle tree base, which resembles a steel safety grate with an artistic twisst, in wavy, textured silver tone that is trimmed with unusual silver faceted "rhinestones", with marquis sapphire blue rhinestone trunk, filigree star, and a large round sapphire blue stone prong set in its center. Topper is a cluster of three electric 2024 blue stones.

Measures 2" inches tall X 1 3/8" inches at its widest point.
Condition is excellent.

Each piece that he made are a one-of-a-kind hand made collectibles that can never be reproduced exactly since the materials include antique and vintage beads and crystals. David's mark, "The Show Must Go On!" appears on the back, ensuring its authenticity.
