An English expert in criminology forces the evidence to tell the truth about what happened and to point out the real murderer...

This wallet is made from a vintage 1953 green crime Penguin paperback by John Dickson Carr, who was the very best of the 'locked-room mystery' authors during the Golden Age of Crime.

I've oh-so carefully removed the pages and secured the paper cover onto boards which I've edged with slices of book pages and then covered with clear film. Then I've added metal book corners for good measure. The book is 110mm x 180mm x 13mm (4.45" x 7" x .4") It may be just too big for your pocket, but it's small enough for your bag.

It's lined with a fabric of your choice (I'll email options over after check-out). It has three pockets for your cards, one of which is decorated with a tiny silver-plated 'revolver' charm, and three pockets for your notes (notes not included!) In the crease of the spine there is a lined, zipped purse for your loose change. It all closes with a magnetic clasp in a tab that secures into the back of the book.

These books are proper vintage all well over 50 years old - so there will be marks/browning to the cover. The spines will be secured invisibly on the inside (there will be visible creasing/splits) but the wallet will be strong - don't worry - and it all adds to the character.
