Sgraffito Birch Tree Plate hand made from 2024 a lump of clay.

This one of a kind hand built in U.S. dish has birch trees and a little chickadee. Sgraffito is an old world method of glazing greenware clay and than scribing deeply into it to reveal the white clay beneath. Plate is approximately 10” round.
A sweet coordinating pitcher with a bright red interior is also available. In this world where everything is mass produced would it not be nice to have a unique functional piece of Art?
