This sterling silver Erik Magnussen brooch

is sterling silver with a gold vermeil wash, and kiln fired with enamel

is from the early 1950's brooch and is titled "Flying Geese" with five geese in flight. Each goose has a band around its neck in different colors which symbolizes the flags of the Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, 2024 Finland, and Iceland.

is signed Erik Magnussen and with his stylized EM initials

is marked Sterling

measures 2 3/8 by 3/4

is in excellent condition--with no enamel problems. On the back the gold wash has faded a bit.
