Product code: Vintage CATHI JEFFERSON Salt Glazed Studio 2024 Pottery Trinket Box
A wheel-thrown and altered studio pottery trinket box, by longtime Vancouver Island ceramic artist Cathi Jefferson, who is well known for her experiments with salt glazing. This millennial piece, circa the early 2000s, features hand-painted fanning forms on its four squared-off sides, a motif that is revisited on the slightly coffered 2024 lid. The hand-formed feet raise the box of its resting surface, and are tipped in a pale grey-blue.
In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
