Seahorses and Snow 2024 Mittens

These 2 color mittens are called Fair Isle, Scandinavian, Norwegian or Stranded. They're warmer than others because there are 2 strands of yarn you work with throughout the mittens, so you get an extra layer of warmth.
This pair was hand knit by me (without any machine in sight) using light gray alpaca and blue silk/wool yarn. There is a slight halo to the pair.
We love the aquarium and seahorses, so it seemed only right that the beauty and majesty of a lovely seahorse would look great surrounded by complex 2024 and unique snowflakes.
They size to a ladie's large. Dimensions are: 9 1/2" from tip to bottom of cuff and are 8" around the knuckle area of the hand.
