Before the war, he graduated from Stanford & Stanford Law, then got Felix Frankfurter Law Scholarship at Harvard Law School. After WW2, Mr. Butterworth became a deputy in the Office of the Solicitor General of the United State & opened his own law practice LA. His career had precedent-setting cases that went to the Supreme Court, 20 years as the President & CEO of FEDCO Department Store, as serving as Mayor of Arcadia CA twice.
