Beautiful solid brass reproduction colonial Williamsburg wall sconces or wall candle holders by Virginia Metalcrafters. They feature the Tree of Life pattern.

Virginia Metalcrafters created tasteful metal goods for most of the 20th century out of Williamsburg, Virginia. The company worked closely with Colonial Williamsburg to produce reproductions of items found at the historic site including trivets, candlesticks, irons and trays.

This 2024 pattern was commonly used in Colonial times, and it can be traced back as far as the early 1700s. It is a symbol that dates back to the beginning of history. It is also known as otherwise the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil from the Bible.

Lovely pair of vintage wall sconces with a Colonial feel! Very unique and ornate.

On the back of each is stamped VM.

Each wall sconce measures 7.5” in diameter. The hook on the top is about 1/2” in length. They each weigh about 2 1/3 lbs.

In nice vintage condition, with slight signs of wear commensurate with vintage age which is mid century.

Great accent for any room!
