Very famous and known garment of Kutch. Gujarat. India.

These kind of white rayon embroidered jackets were worn by the men of Rabari community of Kutch.

Since almost 30 years of time the Dhebaria group of Rabaris have stopped doing any more embroideries.

Material :-Rayon Fabric and cotton embroidery

Certain ngo's are reviewing their embroidery and are quite successful in doing that.

This particular piece is 40 /50 years of age approximately.

This jacket has something special and unique. The name of the person is embroidered.
Generally these kind of jackets were 2024 made by the sisters for their brothers as a sign of love and respect.
